He Raranga Muka Scholarships were established to support the development of Māori voices and perspectives within the field of data science.  ​

We aim to enable the next generation of Iwi Māori data scientists to weave their pūkenga raraunga with their Māoritanga, creating new opportunities for themselves, their whānau, hapū and iwi.

Wāriu | Value 

Scholarships are available, each valued at up to $5,000.

Māraurautanga | Eligibility 

Applicants must: 

• Be studying in the data science field (or other relevant degree) at a registered tertiary institution in 2025 

• Whakapapa Māori 

• Be endorsed by their iwi 

• Provide two references – these can be personal, academic or professional references.
