He Raranga Muka Scholarships were established to support the development of Māori voices and perspectives within the field of data science.
We aim to enable the next generation of Iwi Māori data scientists to weave their pūkenga raraunga with their Māoritanga, creating new opportunities for themselves, their whānau, hapū and iwi.
Māraurautanga | Eligibility
Applicants must:

Be studying in their 2nd year or above in the data science field (or other relevant degree) at a registered tertiary institution in 2026

Whakapapa Māori

Be endorsed by their iwi

Provide two references – these can be personal, academic or professional references.
